Invitris radically simplifies how we create novel biological drugs. Their patent-pending technology platform turns DNA into synthetic proteins and was recently featured in Science magazine. It makes creating new drugs >10,000x more efficient at <100x lower material costs.
Their killer application enables the newest generation of synthetic bacteriophages to combat antibiotic-resistant infections, threatening to cause more deaths than all cancers combined.

Adventris makes cancer vaccines. We can eliminate most cancer deaths by teaching our body’s immune system to recognize and kill the mutations that cause cancer.
A little more detail to understand their scientific approach: A normal cell turns into cancer when it develops a mutation that makes it grow aggressively. Surprisingly, a small number of these mutations account for the vast majority of cancer deaths. The immune system usually doesn’t recognize these mutations, but their technology platform enables us to train the immune system to recognize and attack these cancers. Their first product is a vaccine for lung cancer treatment that targets the KRAS mutation, the most common mutation in cancer, accounting for about 25-30% of all cancer deaths. In the long run, they envision a world where every adult receives our vaccines annually – preventing most cancer deaths.

Pando Bioscience is a Boston-based synthetic biology platform company aiming to dramatically expand the understanding of human diseases from genomes to interactomes, from single protein to protein-protein interaction (PPI) networks. They developed a multi-dimensional platform combining high-throughput PPI detection and AI-powered analysis to understand patients’ genotype-phenotype relationships better. They aim to revolutionarily innovate the disease-related protein target discovery and drug identification process.

It takes 5 years for pharma to develop long-lasting drug injections for chronic diseases like cancer and diabetes. Persist uses AI-driven automation to reduce formulation development time down to 2 years, a ~60% reduction.

Founder - Namrata Anand
At Diffuse Bio, they are building a push-button, entirely AI software platform for molecular design, leveraging breakthroughs in generative AI. Their team has been behind breakthroughs in AI protein design for the past 6 years, including the first experimental validation of AI-generated proteins and diffusion models for protein structure and sequence.

Sanvivo builds a multi-sided platform to enable customers to order medications, get pharmaceutical advice, and book health services at local pharmacies in Europe. Like Doordash for pharmacies.
Pharmacies play a significant role in every decentralized healthcare system. With their well-established infrastructure, they provide essential medications and pharmaceutical consultations ad hoc for every citizen. However, by using state-of-the-art e-commerce methods, online mail-order pharmacies take more and more customers away from local pharmacies. This is the case even though mail-order pharmacies provide less consultation and slower supply. Sanvivo uses technology to give local pharmacies digital superpowers, enabling them to combine fast supply and high-quality consultation with state of the are e-commerce solutions like last-mile delivery.

Kivo Health

Vaughn Koch & Victor Sadauskas
Kivo Health provides telehealth rehab for chronic lung disease patients. They offer an 8-week clinical program led by a live therapist, which saves payers $6,000 per patient. Only 3% of eligible patients are getting this life-changing therapy right now.

Scanbase

Jeffrey Lange & Steve Roger
Scanbase makes it easy for medical companies to convert photos of rapid diagnostic tests into results. They do this by providing a simple API that any medical company can access.

Talia Krainc & John Fraser
TorMagnus is leveraging genetics and computation to identify new treatments for diseases, starting with Parkinson's disease.

Pledge Health

Shreya Jagarlamudi & Andrew Tang
Pledge helps healthcare practices grow their revenue by automating patient billing and payment collection. It is a payments platform that lets healthcare practices check patient insurance benefits for time-of-service payments, communicates easy-to-understand bills automatically with patients via email/sms, and collects payments online.

Dereck Paul & Graham Ramsey
They empower clinicians with our platform for AI-assisted medical diagnosis and clinical decision-making.

Rishabh Jain & Sriram Somasundaram
Latent is building medical language models to tackle the trillions of operational overhead weighing down healthcare. Their flagship product streamlines insurance authorization by analyzing EHR records and surfacing the most relevant data. Since launching 2.5 months ago, they've built our product and signed enterprise contracts with two of the largest health systems in the US.
